The project phases:
Phase 1: The preparatory phase and planning. This phase involves preparatory and organizational activities, meetings and negotiations (in particular, online) at the level of the applicant university and the project partners. The phase also provides for the initial creation and filling an appropriate site/sub-site of the project and informing about the project in social networks. Finally, the phase concerns preparation of the material and technical base of the project and the dissemination of the information and production about the project and the IVF.
Phase 2: The operational phase and achievement of the objectives. This phase involves distribution the information about the Fund, the applicant, the partners and the project on methods and tools of Political Science. The bulk of the activities will be aimed at organizing and conducting workshops and conference on the problems of methods and tools of Political Science and at printing and distribution a collection of materials based on the results of these activities (under the condition of the applicant’s financial capacity).
Phase 3: The final phase, evaluation, reporting and summing up the results. This phase focuses on the evaluation/summing up the results and developing lessons from the project for the future. Particular attention will be paid to the final report on the project, as well as to the activities related to its audit. The applicant university will focus on informing educational and scientific community about the overall and current results of the project and prospects for cooperation with the IVF.
The project events:
Workshops on the problems of methods and tools of Political Science (Event–Public), Lviv, UA
A preparatory series of theoretical and practical workshops on the problems of methods and tools of Political Science with the participation of experts from the V4 countries and Ukraine. The project’s partners (from the countries of the Visegrad Group) and some experts from Ukraine, as well as partially the staff of the applicant department will be involved in the workshops (in the role of lecturers). The staff of the applicant and other departments, the PhD students’ environments, as well as all interested persons will be invited to attend workshops (as listeners). During the workshops, there will be presented the information that directly relates to the objectives of the project, i.e. to the improvement of methods and tools of Political Science in Ukraine. The information received by the staff of the applicant department will be disseminated in the educational and scientific process for students in the future. In addition, the obtained information under the condition of the applicant’s financial capacity will be used to prepare a collection of materials based on the results of workshops.
A conference on the problems of methods and tools of Political Science (Event–Public), Lviv, UA
Preparation and holding a conference (with the participation and the presence of experts, postgraduates and students from Ukraine and the V4 countries) on the problems of methods and tools of Political Science, in particular in the analysis of parties and elections, party and electoral systems. The project’s partners (from the countries of the Visegrad Group) and some experts from Ukraine, as well as the staff and students of the applicant department will be involved in a conference (in the role of reporters and listeners). All interested persons will be invited to attend a conference (as reporters and listeners). During a conference, the key scientific issues of methods and tools of Political Science will be discussed. The emphasis will be placed on the methods and tools of party and electoral researches (both in theoretical and empirical cuts). At the same time, a conference will be held in several sections. In addition, the obtained information under the condition of the applicant’s financial capacity will be used to prepare a collection of materials based on the results of a conference.
